New Moon script and scenes

I'm sure you also are somewhat afraid that some of the best quotes & important scenes in the NM book will be left out in the movie. We have our own personal choices for the scenes that SHOULD be in the movie. And I also am thinking of hunting down the scriptwriter & director if they mess it up. I'm sure they know the fans to have high expectations on the second movie.

My expectation are extremely high, and i have my fingers crossed they wont stuff it up.

Lets say the movie goes for about 2 hours, well in that 2 hours i had better see over an hour of Jacob, because the bulk of the book was Bella and Jacob. Aside from a couple of chapters at the start and a couple at the end.

But i have this feeling, in order to keep the fanbase they will stretch out the time in Volterra longer then i would if i were the script writer/directo/priducer, whatever.

I really do hope they get it right, because i found that with Harry Potter they just got worse as time went on and they left too much out, i really hope the same thing dont happen with the Twilight series.

idk. they have to at least put in enough jacob to get bella's emotional changes through... from zombie, to extremely depressed, to slightly depressed, to depressed but coping.... and you gotta get to the point where you dont know if the cullens are coming back before they actually do. i think theyll do fine with the jake parts... im worried about after volterra more than anything.

you know what im kinda excited to see though? jasper attacking bella! thats gonna be amazing/really really sad.

I'm really excited about how they go about the Volterra scene. With Bella running through crowds & Edward looking so heavenly almost-under-the-sun... Jake phasing (I'd like to see excellent CGI here now they have a budget)... Jasper attacking Bella... Motorcycle scene... Cliff-diving.

i thought you said the victoria scene.... i was like... uh wrong book rai. rofl.

Hah! Spontaneous Twilight quote which was helpful in this case. I blanked out again. Okay. LOL. There was no major Victoria scene in NM (except for the flaming red hair in the water) & I had to check my post again just to make sure.

I am really praying they dont screw up the CGI on the wolves, i have such a vivid imagination, and i just hope the CGI peeps dont dissapoint. I really want the wolves to look as awesome as i had pictured them when i was readin the series.

yeah i think they probably will screw up the werewolves in some aspect. either they wont make them as big as theyre supposed to be, or theyll look stupid when the phase and not look like real wolves. id personally rather have them smaller and look awesome, but thats just me. hopefully im wronggg.

I just hope they arent like normal wolves, i mean, normal wolves are awesome, but i want them to be big and look like wolves, but with a twist, i dont know, when i pictured all of them, i could tell who was who, but not only by colour, there was an aspect of there human form in them that you could just tell who was who!

I am so nervous about this film because i have such high hopes.

i almost would rather them look like real wolves than have them look completely ridiculous.

Yes. Not like the ones in Underworld or Harry Potter. Those are way too ridiculous (and not cuddly). They aren't really werewolves, anyway. They're shapeshifters. Sooooo... they should look like real wolves, just bigger & more human (still cuddly).

If they make them look like the crappy excuse for a werewolf that they have on Underworld and Harry Potter (which normally i love them, its just, Jacob should still look cute and scary at the same time lol)....I will be angry!

I want them as i said above, big, wolf like, but with that slight humanity to them so you can tell who is who without having to remember all the colours!....but that is just me, and i dont know how they would accomplish that....

I am a little worried they will just make the one wolf and then just change the fur and eye colour, and they better not do that, or i will probably be angry....

Let's see which CGI people they'll be hiring. If they used them people from LOTR, then I won't worry. I love how they made Gollum & the Mûmakil. And the Legolas action scenes. Man, I love them.

Disappointment is inevitable IF they make the CGI mediocre. But if they work hard on it, I'm sure they'll do a good job. Let's be optimistic about it. Let's give them a chance & wait for the finished product. If they mess it up, we'll hunt them down.

i will love the movie regardless, as LONG AS they dont mess up the script. i cant handle crappy effects... i wont like it, but ill deal...the only thing i cant deal with is them screwing up the actual content.

That's also correct. A movie with a crappy script sucks more than a movie with crappy effects. A good story is always better

Well i didnt really want to think about them screwing the script up, now, if they do that, i will hunt them down and hurt them....BAD!

ill probably just get super pissed in the theaters... ill just yell WHAT!? NO!!!! THATS NOT HOW IT HAPPEND!!! but ill go see it at midnight the day it comes out, so ill be surrounded by my people lol.

me and Tennille are going on the very first midnight showing as well. like we do with the Harry Potter movies.
i personally dont think it will be that bad as long as the director studies the book properly. there are quiet a few things they cant afford to miss i believe.
i really just hope that Jacob has more screen time then anyone (except maybe Bella) otherwise i will have to put up with Tennille complaining all the way until Eclipse comes out lolz.
i know she will love it anyway, as im sure i will as well. but still, it is normal for us all to have our fears.

Right now, filming has primarily involved Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, with some wolf shots thrown in here and there. However, while Taylor/Jacob will feature prominently, right now there are several “Edward” dream sequences planned, just so the crazy fan moms don’t lose their sh-t over not enough Robert Pattinson. Whether or not those parts make it to the final cut is another story.

While i am happy to hear that Taylor is going to be prominant in the film (he had to be) they are still straying from the book with this Edward thing, WHY? WHY? WHY?

Ok, i wont complain, because i am easing some tension a little on the script knowing that Taylor is actuallly going to get the decent amount of screen time he deserves.....Which was one of my main fears, i was really worried they would cut short the Jacob/Bella time and concentrate on before Edward left, Volterra, Edward and Bella in Volterra and after that....

Phew, i can breath a little now....But not too much, i dont want to get my hopes up and have them crushed...

I hope Rob grew his hair out a bit more because it looked a bit short. lol

not gonna lie tennille. in my heart of hearts i desperately wish that theyd do what you dont want them to do with the script. =[. dont killlllll me! but i cant help it.

But seriously, i just want them to follow the book as close as they can, i mean, Jacob (oh and Bella) being in 3 quatres of the movie is about right....lol...

thats fine as long as the movies like 3 HOURS because they absolutely HAVE TO do the edward parts justice! they cant rush through them EXPECIALLY volterra and the bedroom.
