um yeah. i gotta agree with sister on this one. the midwest SUCKS. are you 20 minutes from a decent grocery store, a movie theater, or even a restaurant (besides subway woo!) do you look out your window and see nothing but corn fields all around you?? can you name every single person that you graduated with? could you give a life story about every SINGLE person you graduated with? cause i CAN. its awful. i know everyone around me and everyone knows me. you have no privacy. you have NOTHING to do unless you want to waste a ton of gas. yeah the midwest sucks.

I'm not in a town quite as small as Sister, and I still say the Midwest sucks. Like my city is about half a million people, but it's just so boring. Nothing happens here. We're right in the middle of everything, so there's nothing exciting. Fields, farms, etc. Just not the right place for me.

I can relate to the high school experiences a lot. I went to a tiny school, so bullies weren't really too extreme, but I got a lot done to me through other parties. My plan's always been to move to London, and that plan remains. London is like my dream city. Big, cool accents, nice shopping stores, since one of my novels was based in there, I know where some of the cool sites are and all. I've always wanted to leave the Midwest at the very least and head to the west or east coast. Moving to London would be amazing!

And I finished Chapter Eight just now! Woot! Now I'm gonna make something to eat and go read some HBP, Sister! No shanking of the donkey butt because I wrote like seven or eight pages today. Very Happy Hehe.

No. Like nine more months until I turn eighteen. Then I'm probably gonna spend a few months, maybe a year more here. But my goal is basically to finish my novel and maybe the sequel as well before I turn eighteen. Hopefully I can get published and make enough money to get me out of this crappy place. Or crappy in my opinion anyway.

haha now we're having the battle of the small towns. but when i say its 20 minutes till anything i mean 20 minutes until walmart. if you want to go to a mall or something then its farther. maybe an hour. the closest big city is either chicago or indianapolis. both are about 2 hours away in opposite directions. and not only did i know the life story of everyone i graduated with, but i knew the life stories of 2 classes ahead of me and probably 4 back. my high school was so small that they combined it with junior high. and with junior high and high school TOGETHER my entire school didnt even take up the bleachers on our football field. there were just over 300 in high school and junior high combined. 50 in my class.

I so cannot relate to the whole living in a small town, isolated from facilities thing. I kinda wish I could experience it just so I know. I mean living in a densely populated medium-size town ain't great either. Its polluted, the streets are cluttered with people, there are queues to everything all the time, and you don't feel like you live in any sort of community. Everyone keeps to themselves. This is why I wanna get out of London and live in a proper village or something.
