Re: Pictures of Your Country
That might be true, but the Midwest is SO boring. It's flat. Like basically the Midwest is made up of farms. There's NOTHING here.
Here's some pictures I found on my Facebook. Please excuse the horses. That's the only time I ever get pictures of the actual Midwest, lol. And there are quite a few horses in the Midwest.
This is where I board my horse. That horse is Nancy. Not mine. But it's basically just fields and trees.
More horsies. Rex is the black one, also not mine. The sorrel/brownish (if you don't speak horse colors) is my horse Trapper.
Wild flowers in the west field of the property where I board my horse.
This is a pond on the property, one of the ponds. Trapper, my horse, used to always stop there on a hot day when I was TRYING to lead him towards the barn, and I couldn't figure out why. Then quite a while later, the family friend who owns the property said my horse was half fish and always rolls in that pond. I haven't caught him at it, but he always smells like fish, so I believe it.
World's Cutest Dog! This is my two year old treeing walker coon hound Sally Sue like a few days after we got her. We didn't have electricity for some reason, so I was out in the back yard taking pictures and it turned up that she was EXTREMELY photogenic. And very cute.
The ultra flat, boringness of the Midwest, plus a cute picture of my dog.
The dogs destroyed the hammock, but that's our backyard. We live on an extremely busy street right in the center of the city. Then we've got a pretty small forest behind our yard. There's a creek that runs through it. We own like half of the forest. Then on the other side, there's a school and another forest to the east, I think...
Very boring. The Midwest is so boring that nobody wants to live here and that there's no good pictures, lol. So excuse the pets.

Re: Pictures of Your Country
Owning part of a forest is cool, and it is a good get away besides the poison ivy and gross critters. Our yard has to be big. When we bought the house, we had an old mutt who used to run away. We thought the big yard would help that, and it didn't. But we had like twelve people living in one house at some point, so we had to have a huge house, huge yard, etc. Only to us, now it's not huge. It's SO cramed and we only have nine people living there now.
And Sister, ALL of the Midwest is the same. Flat, boring, stupid.

Let's move out of the Midwest for a few years, and then I wanna move out of the US period. I hate it here. Americans are the perfect example of stupidity.

We do have to go visit Rob's childhood home. Hey! We should buy it once we're rich and then open it for tourists and become even richer so we can buy that house on my Facebook or one kinda like it, lol.

I would still prefer the mass murderers. America is SO boring to people who live here. It's not something you could understand since you don't live here.

Re: Pictures of Your Country
I'm not trying to be argumentative or anything. Obviously, I'm not from Australia. I've never been there. It depends on where your from. I'm sure if you were me being raised in the Midwest you would feel the same. It's just not for me. It's too empty, too boring, whatever. If I was raised in Australia and I was you, I'm sure I would rather be in the Midwest.
