My next canvas... Midnight Rose...

hey guys...

As most of you know I have had a pretty rough time the last couple of weeks and that inspired me to actually get painting again... I put this canvas together in about 6 hrs...doesn't sound like long but that is short compared to how long others put into their work. ok I'm going to post some pics for yas...

I love it... I am very proud that I can throw something like that together... I dunno what do you guys think??

Yeah a couple but they aren't as good as this one... but I can post them up if you really wanna see them...

I'm going to start another one in the next week or so, so I will post pics of that up as well when it's done...

ok I said that I was working on another one well I finished it today...



I don't think it's quite as good as my last one but I loved the quote and felt that I had to incorporate it somehow...

great painting and the text is sad but lovely I don't know why but I really love that plaster

lol... yeah the plaster was a last minute thing... I just had the heart on there but I thought it needed something and then I thought about what I was feeling and how my heart had to be patched up and i thought well the plaster shows that I'm beginning to heal after having such a rough time the last few weeks...felt right and I think it looks good...

for the record... it literally took me like 10 minutes to figure out what you meant by plaster XD.

seriously? lol I thought plaster is one of the important thing in there

Without plaster the painting would be boring, just the plain heart, not that interesting. Now it's great last minute's ideas are the best

Ok now I finished this a little earlier and I thought that you guys might like to see it... I know i used the same rose but i really like it and mum stole the first one to put in the lounge so this one is staying with me lol... I put a new twist on it anyways so i reckon it is pretty awesome hehehe...




You can't see the detail in the background so much but it is crackeled with crackle medium it is awesome hehehe

I will try to get a clearer piccie in the morning in a decent light lol

Mum thinks that I should start selling them but I honestly don't think they are good enough... but I guess I am the artist and I can see all of the little mistakes that I have made here and there you know?? But I guess the real judges are the people who want to buy them really... I mean it is their money lol...

i am SUCH a perfectionist emma! i totally know how you feel! i NEVER think anything that i do is perfect, because it's NOT! but you should try to sell them! if someone buys it then it's awesome and you ahve some money, and if not then you have a super awesome painting for your house. it's win win!

You SHOULD try and sell some. They are really great. I'd hang some in my room. lol

eee! i'm so excited! when i said i wanted stuff for my walls i expected a postcard or something! LOL! but this is SOOO much better! edie drew me a picture of mickey mouse lol!
