5 minutes with Robert Pattinson!

5 minutes on the phone with Twilight superstar, Robert Pattinson.

NW: Robert, how are you feeling having finally filmed New Moon?
Rob: It is a great feeling, I love how the film has turned out, it is so much different to the first one and I am sure the fans are going to love it.

NW: Have you signed onto to do Eclipse?
Rob: I have and we begin filming in August this year. I am looking forward to it, I have read the script, and it is brilliant.

NW: Do you know the scheduled release date yet?
Rob: No, it is still unsure at the moment. We are aiming for July of 2010, but there are a few night time scene’s and kissing scene’s that we want to shoot on location, and Taylor (Lautner, who plays Jacob Black) wont be 18 until February, and legally he cant do night time shoots, or kissing scene’s until he is 18, so it might be pushed back a little bit because we are going to wait until Taylor is 18 before we shoot some of the more crucial scene’s for the movie. It really all depends on post production after that.

NW: So, what about the rumours surrounding yourself and Kristen Stewart?
Rob: (laughs) I didn’t even know there were rumours around myself and Kristen, we are just really great friends, and we want to keep it that way.

NW: Do you plan on staying on board for all 4 of the saga’s films?
Rob: I have already signed on to do Breaking Dawn if they do it, but after that I don’t think I want to remain in the acting business. I have other things I wish to pursue.

NW: Like what?
Rob: Directing, writing, Broadway. There are really a lot of things I want to do.

NW: We seen some pictures of you getting up close and personal with our Aussie starlet Emilie De Ravin, care to explain?
Rob: Emilie and I are co-stars in a movie together, Remember Me, she is a lovely girl, but there is really nothing going on.

NW: We heard rumours that you don’t like to bathe, are those rumours true?
Rob: Well I shower, I just don’t wash my hair, if you leave it long enough without washing it, it starts to wash itself.

NW: Is there anyone on the set of New Moon you don’t like?
Rob: No, everyone is great, but there is at least one person I know of who doesn’t like me. (Laughs)

NW: Really? Who?
Rob: Taylor (Lautner’s) father hates me, because at a party, I am unsure which it was, it might have been the New Moon wrap party, myself and Kellan (Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen) had gotten Taylor a few drinks. We were drinking pretty heavy ourselves, and weren’t counting the drinks. Well Taylor ended up almost as drunk as I was, and his father was not impressed.

NW: Did anything happen?
Rob: No, because Taylor didn’t actually tell his father anything, but somehow he knew it was us.

NW: Well Rob, five minutes has gone on the clock and that is all we have time for, it was great speaking to you and we hope to do it again soon.
Rob: Thanks! And hello to everyone over there in Australia.

Yeah i am guessing it is because of his contract, because when you are under 18 it is pretty much up to your parents what your contract says. And Taylor's dad trys to shield him from, well, everything, so it wouldnt surprise me if that was in his contract.

But yeah, it is funny they got him a few drinks. I was laughing so hard listening to the podcast! LOL!

no they waited to do the actually KISSING part of the bedroom in twilight until kristen was 18. its not all filmed at once. its in catherine's director's guide book thing.

and LMAO about getting taylor drunk! hahahahahaaa. im not gonna lie, ive never drank, but if robert pattinson slipped me a couple i would DEFINATELY take them!

lol i think that just makes Rob a little bit cooler in my book...poor Tay Tay....he seems sooo sheltered....those always end up to be the worst ones...lol...

and i didnt know that, about KS....soo is it all actors?

Oh yeah, Kristen was 18, i have that directors note book thing, i remember reading that now....LOL! I guess i didnt pay that much attention...LOL!!

But yeah, those kids who are so sheltered and their parents dont let them do anything, they usually rebel pretty bad later in life...LOL!

yea i know...they are the ones who end up really slutty or with drug problems...hahahha

but i doubt Tay is going to end up like that, he seems like he has a mind of his own and im sure he has his head on his shoulders, hes just doing what his parents think is best for him at the moment, but im sure he will branch out into a great actor and a good person...hopefully
