Plot Twist *SPOILER*

Should Jake have imprinted on Nessie? I think this whole plot twist was weird and un-necessary. SM only added it so that Bella could have the perfect happy ending with Jake and Edward in her life at the same time. I found it disturbing, especially how Nessie is already thinking about Jake more than she does Edward, her own father. It's just bizarre. But what do you think?

Very disturbing. I was hoping for more Edward-Nessie bonding. I also didn't like it that Jacob imprinted on her. I'd rather have Seth imprinted on her.

Seth would have been great imprinted with Nessie! Omg, I never thought of that. Then Jacob could imprint witih Leah. I originally thought those two would be together. Too bad SM didn't match them up, they would have been a cute couple.

^ That would have been fantastic and actually SM could still have her happy ending. Seth would have to stay with the Cullens for Nessie. Leah would have to stick with them because she'd never leave Seth alone. Therefore Jake would have to stay with them because he can't be away from Leah. Therefore Bella still gets Jake in her life, in a way that doesn't involve Jake and Nessie.

Plus I REALLY wanted a happy ending for Leah. She deserves one after what she went through and I really liked her character.

That sucks, that would have been awesome! Then Nessie wouldn't have to worry about the creepy fact that Jake made out with her mom....

omg no! i totally was hoping for a jake/leah imprinting! jake on nessie was just weird. when i was reading bd i didnt get it at first... i was just like... okay why didnt he kill the demon baby... but then i figured it out.

sorta related... am i the only person that had a probably with bella harrassing edward for sex? edward never said he was scared throughout the entire saga, and then he says he's scared about sexing it up... but bella can't see that. she needs a good punch in the face.

^^^ That's why I think Bella's part in the relationship is just lust.

Yeah that whole weird Bella-Jake-Nessie triangle is creep-tacular, to steal Jake's term.

I had a problem with Bella begging for sex too. Edward did everything he could to explain to her why he couldn't. But she is just completely selfish and ignores what he's teliing her. Not a sign of love in my opinion...

and this is why we're marrying edward! we love him enough to share! and i would neverrr beg him for sex! i think even looking at him would be too much for me!

yes!! I am having that issue right now. I just can't type fast enough. And I really wanna go to bed soon so I can catch up on sleep. I was gonna come on for like 5 minutes, check everything, post a few replies and go offline. That was like 20 mins ago and TwiFo is barely touched.

Ugh, i hafta stay up till 2 in the morning just to keep track of both forums, do skoolwork, design, write, and live my life. Damn. lol. I need a red bull.

I need the Ed. It keeps me going. I'm gonna write the continuation of my fanfic later.

But going back on topic, I'd rather have CAIUS died in the end.

I think it wraps up the entire saga into a nice big package. It ensures the peace between the biters and the howlers. It also ensures the safety of the Cullens against the Volturi and allows for more biter clans of likemindedness to have peace with the howlers.

Howlers are the shapechangers and biters are the vampires for those who are tired. LOL

Nessie will always be safe regardless of who is around her and who better to protect her than Jacob. Besides Edward and Bella. It was odd, but as I said, it wraps it up nicely. Who said no one gets a happy ending.

i can see why SM did it that way, but i agree... leah deserved a happy ending.

I kinda felt that Leah was singled out and left out in the cold.

Actually, after reading BD again, I find that I have a higher opinion of it. Part of it was the Jacob book; that was a very good read. Also, for me, the introduction of all those new characters was also very interesting.

At any rate, my main point is about Jacob and Renesmee. I agree the imprinting probably was a shortcut to making for Bella's perfect ending; however, this doesn't mean that's all it can ever BE. This is an angst driven series. I admit it. I like it. (Unusual for me.) There it is. SM, or another authorized author, can easily get a book out of Renesmee-driven angst. Renesmee, although incredibly intelligent, will not be worldly at all. Renesmee attending high school after just seven years of life would be very entertaining if written properly. (Can you imagine if the Cullens want to start over again and Edward and Bella want to attend the same school? Priceless. If written properly.)

not gonna lie, id have a hell of a time reading a book about nessie and jake. but i can kinda see your point.
