Did the end disappoint you?

Idk about you, but the ending of BD was sooo crappy. The whole "And we lived happily ever after" was completely ridiculous in my opinion. How could they live happily ever after if the Volturi is still there and might come back? We don't even get to see Nessie when she grows up, either. Oh, and the whole jake/nessie imprinting. But thats a different story. I also hated that there was no fight at the end. That's what makes a good story. When theres suspension and some ppl die. Why couldn't some of the Volturi atleast died? That's why the last harry potter book was so good, because the fight scene at the end was awesome. It's literally my favorite one!

i LOVED the end of breaking dawn. if someone had died i would have cried for days. i think it was great. it would have been more exciting with a battle... but i like how it turned out. one of my favorite parts in the entire saga is the veryyyy end when bella lets edward into her mind. <3him!

Well Irina died and no one cared. lol. I don't think it was accurate. No battle at all. Why have all the suspension then? And what about Nessie and Leah? And Nahuel? They just disappeared.

Nahuel FTW. I just can't picture the idea of Jacob and Renesmee (I refuse myself to call her Nessie). It's kind of creepy. So, a small fight between Nahuel and Jacob would be nice.

Ok well i HATED the end of BD, actually i didnt particularly like it since the point at which i cried and threw my book at the wall, i was too angry about Jacob imprinting on Renesmee to really pay attention properly.

I really didnt like how there was this big suspensful build up to this big fight, and then, nothing, nothing at all, unless you count Irinia, but even that was unsuspensful!.....And no-one really cared (how rude lol)

Well, nobody really cared about Irina's death because she cause the problem. I know the Volturi would have come anyway to check on Bella's humanity thing, but Irina's false impression rushed things up.

I wanted a damn fight, lol!!! Some kick-assing of the Volturi!

Yupp me too, but it was so anti-climactic....

I know, that sucks!!! I might do a remix BD in the future but idk. I'm already too busy writing 2 novels at the moment...

i havent gotten to the end. but i know all about it thanks to Tennille, and i think from what i know, that the end kinda badly sucked. No fight, i thought for sure there would be a climax and a mad fight, but apparently there wasnt.

It did suck. Badly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wanted a less-tidy ending. It was just TOO happy ending for me. Bella literally got EVERYTHING she could possibly have wanted. And no fight. Half a book leading up to it and no bloody fight. Too anti climatic for me.

She really did het everything she wanted hey?!! grrrrr.....I mean i didnt want anyone important to die, but if there was a fight a few less important people could have been killed off, just to make it a little more climactic.....

pshh honestly i was hoping that the volturi would have crashed the wedding. it would have been too harry potter, but it also would have been EPIC. i was also hoping for a little wolf vamp drama. and then the denalis could have come down to help and irina still could have died and ummm some unimportant werewolf. colin. yes colin.

No, not your ending. The actual ending. It could have been amazing, but it wasn't.

What disappointed me (aside from the very brief wedding/ honeymoon/ transformation parts):

*Jake imprinting on Nessie.
*Caius didn't die.
*There were less Edward-Nessie bonding time.
*Leah didn't have a happy ending.

i am with you 100%.
especially about the Edward-Nessie bonding time. it was like he never had much to do with her. it was all about Bella.
and i also didnt like that Leah didnt have a happy ending. i liked her. she just cracked me up.
and the entire Jacob and Nessie thing- the only good thing that came out of that was watching Tennille launch a book at a wall (she was so upset and angry).
but i also think some people should have died. Caius could have been spared along with perhaps some of the other people who i vaguley remember like Felix and Demetri and someone mentioned a werewolf named Colin, well since i dont remember him then he could have gone as well lol!!

I hated the ending, as well as Breaking Dawn in general. The other books in the Twilight saga at least had proper plot structures. Breaking Dawn was just all over the place! Especially all the build-up for the fight that never happened. Something that would have made Breaking Dawn the slightest bit satisfying would have been if a huge fight occurred, and both sides could have suffered losses. But this? It was not what I expected, even out of a series I dislike.

There was a fight at the end, it was mental tho. And I don't mean mental in the way that it was bad. IF there do the movie, I think a lot of people will understand why it was handled the way it was handled. To see the projection of Bella's mental "bubble" would be awesome. Truly, as much as I reread it over and over, I like it more how it ended.

I wanted Caius to die. He deserved to die. If he died, then the rest of the Volturi would consider to stop thinking of conquering the world of vampires by blackmailing those with extraordinary gifts. I think Chelsea should have died, too.

Interestingly, Caius is important for a fan fic I am working on. I got the idea from the single line that Caius had the Children of the Moon nearly exterminated. I'm willing to bet that he did not do this himself personally. So who did this? Well an easy answer is the Volturi guard, but I'm making up a new character who used to work for the Volturi and was pretty much the werewolf exterminator, so yeah he's a pretty big badass. (Or used to be) It's going slowly, though, as it is a long story and I have a lot of school work, and a son.

That's going to be an interesting story. Post your fic, here when you're done, will ya? Please... please... I'd like to see how Caius got all the credit in almost-exterminating the real werewolves. I hope he'll die in the end, too. LOL.

The abrupt ending sucked badly. There's still some hope for redemption though, if she continues to write in that universe, as she can flesh out exactly what the hell happens after the Volturi are thwarted.
