Blue vs gold

thats true .... some where i read that they only did the blue tint cause they were low budget and like i dont know if that was the reason cause the tint wouldnt cost that much. and i think the gold looks better with new moon just because of the whole concept... think about it when the story/movie was about the cullens and bella and meeting the cullens and all they could have used the blue to make them seem colder and in new moon its all about how when edward leaves * tears * and her gettin close to jake or as she thot of him her "sun" so like sun shiny bright gold shiny bright

^^ thats true too...it just doesnt look as eerie as Twilight does with the vamps, but since they ARE leaving, and now its Jakes time in the spotlight, i think that the gold tint is good...it just doesnt make Forks look like the coldest and rainiest place...

thats true too to bad there isnt somewhere in the middle where you can get that sunny feeling radiating from jake and those rainy days in forks with the cullens but the blue does really work in new moon cause in the book it doesnt really tlk about the weather in forks as much as it does in twilight it tlks more about jake and bellas happy friendship... although it would probably be more emotional for the viewers if the scene where edward leaves *sniffles* was not in such a bright place the blue-ish tint would prolly be CLOSER to the mood they achieved in the book there and when she is going months with out any hope of "life" the gold probably wont work as well.

yea i think the blue would have worked good to with New Moon because it a dark time for Bella, so that would come off as really cold and bleak, and then maybe when she was around Jacob they can change the tint to gold? lol

i like the blue, i really do... it just doesnt look as professional. like it was made with a lower quality camera or something. i think now that they have some money they need to show it off and make it look as well made as possible lol!

i dont think it makes it look unprofessional... really really like it and think that it looks great! that was actually the first time ive seen a movie with a blue tint in it and i loved it...i think they should start the movie out with a blue tint, and when Bella starts to get close to Jake, switch it up to a warmer color and put in the gold tint...

Wow, i cant believe i havent replied here yet...OK...i liked the blue for Twilight because it was the right feel, the right mood for that film, but i really like the gold for New Moon, because New Moon IS Jacob's movie, and he is like a bright little ray of sunshine! So it makes sense to me, and it dont look as cheap as the blue either!
