Blue vs gold

Found some article and it made me think a little bit. I wonder what's your opinion on this as well

So we all know Twilight first movie was more inot blue colors. But as we saw in trailer and pics, New Moon will be more into warmer colors, into gold.

What's your opinion on this?

The blue style makes me to think it happens somewhere in Alaska lol and winter. Ok there is cold and there is middle of semester but the colors didn't seem so real to me. Like the forest, it's so dark. Yes, I understand it makes vampires look cold and stufs but I am more into warm color style. It makes me more think it's a real thing

But maybe they made it all just cause of the wolf pack as New Moon is kind a their movie.

I like the gold better actually.

i like the gold better also. idk. the blue just makes it look less professional to me... idk.

The gold makes it much more colorful and much more enhanced. The blue looks idk...like it has poor quality.

the gold is my favorite the blue kinda makes it look like bella is flushed all the time instead of just when she is embarrassed i rele like the gold's way of enhancing the color

Yeah the gold is my favourite too, the blue was sometimes a bit too "moody" for me

I love the gold tint, too. Blue looked really cold. But that would just explain the introduction of the Cullens. And you're right on the wolf pack being introduced here and the gold tint. I love the forest colors with the gold tint. It makes the whole set look vibrant. LOL...But it also looks sad. The green against the golden hues. It looks solemn and silent. Whereas the blue, it looks icy (obviously) and like there's a bit suspense. LOL

i actually like the blue...it made me really think that they were in the rainiest place in the continental US...hahah

i mean, Forks is supposed to be coooold and cloudy....to me the gold is kinda to bright for where the story takes place...and it makes the vamps look more normal...instead of pale white

You have a point on the normal observation. They should've put lots of pale makeup on the vampires.

seriously...i mean, when i saw the trailer for Twilight...i was like...ok these kids look different and scary, they look like they could be vamps...but when i saw the New Moon trailer, i was like...ok...Edward looks like a normal guy, he doesnt really look like a vamp anymore! and that goes for the rest of the Cullens lol

They're not done with the CGI, though. And that's just the first trailer. The book revolves around Jake & Bella's friendship anyway. And we'll see sparkling, bright vampires in Volterra. Oh, we haven't really seen the Volturi in the trailer. That's something to look forward to.

i didnt really think about that...buut would they really go through all that trouble to cgi stuff to make them look lighter instead of just putting a ton of white stuff on them?

annd yeaaaaa I KNOW!!! thats prolly the thing im looking forward to the most!! the Volterra scene is gonna be OFF THE HOOK!

Those were just bits of the actual scenes. And the birthday scene was at night, so the gold tint & them looking normal is okay. Bella even said so, in the book. The forest scene...hmmm.. that's okay I guess. We haven't really seen Edward's glory there while he was breaking up with Bella. The CGI would be more for the wolves. And Volterra, I think. I'm excited to see the first pictures of the Volturi!!!

I liked the wolf. It was Jake-y for me. Maybe they couldn't find a rust-colored wolf. So they settled with that one. An all-CGI wolf is pretty expensive, so they have to have real wolves to base it from and to cut the cost. They're making like 6 wolves, right? That's a lot...

haha yea the wolf is cute, its just not very intimidating and not how i pictured

annd yea they have to make a wolf for everyone! Paul, Sam, Quil, Embry, Jake, annnd i feel like im missin someone else but cant think of whoooo...lol

You missed Jared. LOL. And that's just a teaser trailer. The CGI effects aren't done yet. The movie isn't even half finished. They just wrapped up filming the actors. But there's a lot more to do. Music, CGI, dubbing (I guess they have to dub some scenes), and hmmm... the other post production stuff.

I take the blame, okay. But you gave me a hint...

i like the blue but the gold just brings out the forest colors better and bella always tlks about jake being her sun and gold is just kind of sunny but the blue also did bring out the rain aspect of the movie

I like the blue one. It seems more cold and more vampirish to me.

HAHAHAH i know when i was laying in bed this morning trying to go to sleep, i was like...who the hell was i missing!???? and i was like...omg i missed Jared hahahhahha

and yea i know, cause when i first saw the clip, i almost cried because i hated it so bad...but then i was like...ok they JUST got done filming, they didnt edit it all the way yet, and it will be fine, so now i kinda like the trailer haha lol

I prefer the gold. It makes the film look like the production was of a higher quality. It looks less like a cheap movie made on low budget.
