Gerard Way Welcomes Daughter Bandit Lee

Forget the black parade, Gerard Way is seeing pink! The My Chemical Romance lead singer and his wife Lindsey ‘Lyn-Z’ Ballato, bass player for Mindless Self Indulgence, are first time parents after welcoming their daughter on Wednesday, May 27 at 2:57 p.m. Baby girl Bandit Lee Way weighed in at 6 lbs., 5.6 oz and is “healthy and happy.”

Gerard, 32, and Lyn-Z announced the pregnancy in November. While the couple kept quiet when it came to divulging any details, Gerard explained that the lack of discussion wasn’t intentional. “[I don't] know how to begin to even start talking about something like that!” he said at the time.

they named her Bandit?? Seriously? That borders on child abuse!
But yeah I can't wait for the first pics!!

I don't like the name either, but I can't complain because many people I know don't like the names I've chosen for my future children.

those are lovely names!! Who didn't like them?? Enoch is a tiny bit strange but it works well with Jonathon. Arianna is seriously gorgeous.

Who didn't like them? Just my parents and my sister. My mum was like 'Don't you dare to call that to my grandchildren'. And I replied 'It's my children I called them whatever I want to'.
You really like them? Wow. That's a new. And the thing is that I chose those names because they have special meanings to me. Well, not meanings, but the thing is that I came across them while doing things I like, or because they remind me of several things I like, so that's why I chose them.

Yah I do like them! They're unique but don't sound stupid like Bandit!! lol
I thought they had meaning, you can kinda tell. which I think is sweet. your kids names SHOULD have special meaning for you.
Your mum sounds like a bit of a control freak from what you've said of her, Luc. No offense intended...

@ what you said about my mum. Don't worry, I'm not offended. She is a bit of a control freak, but I don't mind because I love her. I mean, she is like that, and I'm not going to try to change her now; it's pointless. So, I sit and pretend to listen while she talks and then I can be in peace. As she would say 'I'm not a control freak, I just like knowing where you are, what you're doing, etc'. lol. It's not bad when you learn to live like that...

My mum used to be worse, but she's less controlling now. She still lives to know when I am every second lol, and who I'm with. But she doesn't control my decisions or anything. Maybe coz I'm 21 now, or coz of her stroke, I dunno. But she's more relaxed.

And yeah you always love them. Even if their personality clashes with your own. Mums are mums. Always. You love them even while you hate them lol.

yeah just wait and see. Most people I know have a different relationship with their folks when they get passed 20/21. Easier generally. More relaxed and more equal.

LOL Luc!!! I do it without even realising! Its been my role since I can remember. With my mates, and with my family. I'm the counsellor of the group, always lol. Dunno why.

And I'm sure it will be, babes. Just remember you have to work at family relationships just like you do with romantic ones.

Well, I have high school, which is driving me crazy, you, Cullenates, and the 30STM world. Way too much to handle, but I have to manage it.

yeah I hope I can keep up next year when I have a PhD to co-ordinate and the HQ. I really don't wanna have to neglect this place, like with exams. But I'm not gonna think about that coz I have the WHOLE of summer. Woooo we're gonna have one helluva summer!!!

I'm going to spend my summer in here. And I am probably going to work but it doesn't matter. I'll come anyway.
