Patch STILL isn't good yet by Chapter 20, Laz, if thats what you mean. Its hard to explain but you see a little about his background in chapter 24 onwards and then he starts acting more like a hero but even then theres some doubts.

hahaha I had a nightmare the night after I stayed up reading this. And I know other readers did too. Becca (the author) said she had one while she was writing it. Thats why I said as the book goes on it becomes a lot different to Twilight.
