Why in the world is Edward's volvo now black in the New Moon? - Kim B.

This wasn't my call. Picky as I am about cars, if I'd been rounding up the vehicles for Twilight, they all would have been the exact makes and models I'd written about (especially that '53 Chevy!). I don't know what all is involved with choosing the cars—I know they have to be able to get their hands on several identical vehicles—but I can say that I like this Volvo—the XC90—better than the first one—the C30. In regards to the color, it's actually a dark silver, not black. And I enjoy the black rims quite a bit.

That's a step-up to the extreme. Hot european hatchback to big-arsed 4x4? Screwup, I feel.

yeah, well i personally really don't care as long as it isn't black. they SHOULD have stuck to the original car, but i think it's a minor thing to change, in the long run. it's still volvo and it's still silver. although i think their highly underestimating their audience. i know NOTHING about cars, but i know what edward's car looks like. i googled it as soon as i read the books.

They should've stuck with the original car...

i like this one a lot better, looks wise. at least he doesn't look like a soccer mom now. but i wish they could have made it a lighter color.

Did you guys see the Volvo add, it has Edward in it, i seen it on TV this morning, and i swear, i pissed myself laughing...LOL! It was so funny, the normal Volvo add, with scene's from Twilight and New Moon in it while they are talking and showing the cars...hahaha!

yes i saw it! hahaha that contest was damn hard too.

i did the contest till phase 6 when i wasnt home... the one time that time actually counted! lol i was so p'd off lol i wanted to win lol but ya the changing the volvo thing ticked me off pretty bad

lol here it was supposed to start at 1pm on sunday and i was at my house till 12:57 my dad REFUSED to wait another ten or fifteen minutes so i could play! i was like thanks the one circumstance time actually matters!!

when i first saw it i was like 'awesome a black volvo' then got disappointed when i found out it was ment to be dark silver. it should have the decal sticker on it that says 'i drive like a cullen' very much, ill be here all week

I sooo hate that car! Cause of the color really... I don't know anything about the cars. They could take any car and make it SILVER and it would be ok for me. But black..... or dark silver... whatever, it looks like black which is totally wrong

This is what I hate in movies sequels. I was looking for that in New Moon. Bella's room, truck etc... I want it to be exactly the same how it was in Twilight when it comes to how they live. Changing things makes me to not believe it's the same story.

So yeah, the car was totally wrong. The one thing I didn't like they did.
