    Dumbledore's Death Empty Dumbledore's Death

Post  trizn Mon Apr 06, 2009 2:51 am

I have written a novel-length post about this topic & my pc got all crazy. ALL of it were erased! Mad Mad Mad Mad

I'll see if I can remember everything. Stupid computer.

I don't believe Snape really killed Dumbledore. How he died didn't really show how the Avada Kedavra spell would've worked. And remember non-verbal spells? Also, it was explained that to use any of the unforgivable curses, one has to really mean it.

Snape could've said it only for Draco's sake. Just a physical proof. He did say it but didn't really mean it. He may have thought of a non-verbal spell& that's what really hit Dumbledore.

Dumbledore was already dying. What with him destroying Slytherin's ring & drinking that potion from the cave. He knew he only had moments to live, that's why he pleaded to Snape to end it. That was also to save Draco. Snape was a very good Occlumens. Voldemort never doubted his loyalty. But to save Draco, he & Dumbledore deviced that plan.

Draco was the only death eater in the room & he hasn't killed anyone using Avada Kedavra or seen anyone dying by it. So he never really knew the difference. However, if it was Hermione in his place, she would've noticed & would've questioned Snape. Maybe even tell Voldemort about it & gotten Snape exposed.

So, there... I hope I didn't miss anything I thought of a while ago before this stupid pc got all crazy.

Just in time before HBP is shown in a few months. I want to know your thoughts & see if you think my theory makes sense. Very Happy

Good. It finally worked. Now, I just have to go look for my HBP book & re-read it.
