Edward described the difference of morning & evening in vampire eyes. As we know, they have really sharp/clear eyesight. He said the colors changed when it was nighttime. I was wondering what color it turns into for him. It's not as if he'd see darkness because of their enhanced vision.

I'm thinking he would see the night sky as a very bright color. Just my two cents.

I think he would see the night sky as the same color - just because you have sharper vision doesn't mean it's going to change color. xD We have been able to see the sky through telescopes (which are probably much more accurate than Edward's super vision - I'm sure his eyes don't work as telescopes that zoom in on space, lmao), and space is still... black.

I do think he would be able to see the stars with more clarity, and the objects around him would be a bit more defined as well as a little brighter, perhaps. Then again, that's the logical perspective - haven't read Midnight Sun, so I don't know how Meyer puts it. xD

I'm thinking night may appear to him as the afternoon in human eyes. Not really dark because he can see clearly. The day would be much brighter, then.

Maybe like how cats see night? Or in a sort of blurry green like night vision goggles?

i dont really think that the color will change. i think its more like idk... humans all need glasses, but when you become a vampire its like putting on those glasses and everything is way more clear.

I also think he would sees night brighter than we see. Something like our lightest night which is midsummer night is like his darkest night :p

So they don't have to squint to see far away objects. Wait... was there a term in any of the books that said the vampires squinted? Hmmmm... I'll have to go and find out.

Read the whole series just to see if there's any squinting, you mean?

    lol

You'll forget what you're looking for and pass right by some line like, "Edward then squinted into the distance," completely unphased.

LOL. So far I haven't found anything that said "squint" or "squinted"... yet. Maybe they got bitten by a radioactive spider, just like Spiderman. Remember Spidey didn't need glasses after he was bitten? LOL.

Yes, since everything in the vampires is made perfect and predatory.. their eyes are probably modified radically in the transformation. Very Happy

I would hazard a guess and say that their vision is not too much different from ours but yeah definitely more defined and sharp... More adaptable to light changes as well...
