Favorite Holiday Song??

What is your favorite holiday song? haha well... this is absolutely impossible... but i'll try. with words, i really like O Holy Night.

hahaha not the most traditional version, but i like it for some reason. everyone else made it sound all weird. i almost put kelly clarkson's, but she sounded weird.



i also LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE transiberian orchestra. here's their carol of the bells. my FAVORITE!

Mistletoe and Wine by Cliff Richard (probably fav of all) and What's This from Nightmares Before Xmas could be the first ones I could mention.

Then there is few from Home Alone movie Rocking Around The Christmas, I'm Dreaming About White Xmas. Not sure who performs them but it's in Home Alone, first movie.

And then there is few performed by Jackson 5. The Little Xmas Tree and Up On The House Top I love.

Also I love few songs from Disney Xmas collection. A friend sent me these 2 years ago. My fav is Sleight Ride. But this is the song I like performed by almost everybody lol I have few versions of this song already But I think Disney's version is my fav hehe

Also one of my favs are Band Aid "Do They Know It's Xmas"

i HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE sleigh ride. omg! we played a really really HARD version of it in band my senior year and i had to play bells, xylophone and do the damn whip crack. although, i hit two blocks together instead, and i smashed my finger. apparently it was hilarious lol. so embarrassing.

OMG, MAIR!! I have the exact same feelings about Sleighride!! Except I love it now. I used to love it, but sophomore year AND this year, we played it in band, and this year we played this HORRIBLE version of it! AH! And I was first chair clarinet. Me and my best friend. First chair clarinet in that song is the hardest part of them all, and it was so impossible, we got the third clarinet part, cut both up, and made a Frankenstein version. lol

So now, Sleighride is my favorite conventional holiday song.

My favorite overall, I'm not sure, but who doesn't love John Lennon's "So This Is Christmas!"? Classic, simply classic. Very emotional, too.

Um ok, my favorite ones are Oh Holy Night and Ave Maria... reason being that I was in the school choir and singing those songs when arranged and harmonised properly sends shivers down my spine...

Right about now, I hate all Christmas music. My boss at work plays it everyday all day for over a month now. I just want my ears to fall off. LMAO!
