Danny got me thinking...

Okay, so Danny just finished New Moon last night--FINALLY! We were talking about the similarities between Twilight and New Moon last night. He pointed out that there was the glass at the end of Twilight, and then again when Jasper almost attacked Bella. But then the glass is sort of unimportant too, even though it's mentioned. So we were debating if it was for dramatic effect or what.

What do you guys think?

i never even thought about it. but i think it is a dramatic thing. i imagine tha glass hurts. so it would make sense. it wouldnt be near as cool if, for example, when Jasper attacked all that happened was that Bella landed on the couch. glass just make it sound so much cooler.

Hmmmm... I never noticed the similarities. Is there a glass in Eclipse and BD, too?

I don't remember any in Eclipse, but one of my friends said there was something with glass in BD. I don't remember it though.

Oh yeah. The vase. Now, you got me thinking of re-reading Eclipse. Ugh... LOL. I don't wanna feel like reading. I may hate Jake again.

Lol. Yeah. So weird! Why did she repeatedly use GLASS? I understand that that is really dramatic, but there's more things one could use.

Maybe, the glass represents Bella as a human. Breakable.

Hmmm... That's kind of cool. Now I wish that was explained. I really want to know what's up with all the glass.
