this is ridiculously random, yet, its also new moon related, funnily enough! anyways. i gotta say. that jake quote. the one when he describes what imprinting is like? that is probably one of my favorite quotes in eclipse. its at the bottom of my favorite list, granted. but its still on there.

So I was reading beteen lines.... Let's supose a wolf imprints in... mmm, mary! or soph (whoever of you that has more hate for wolves xD) they can see the wolf as a brother... Is not like imprinting means exactly that the wolf its supose to be your partner in life isn't? And I speak of being old-enough to be a couple!

and i think that if (gag!) a wolf imprinted on me, it would be more like he would WANT to be with me, but if i would rather be with someone else he would rather be in my life than not at all.

Haha yeah, if a wolf imprinted on Mary or Sophie it would basically mean that the wolf would be whatever Sophie or Mary wanted him to be, although the wolf would want it to be more, if they didnt, then they would be their best friend or brother, whatever they wanted....but like Jacob said - 'it is hard to resist that kind of commitment'....So usually they do end up together.

Yeah, its ok... Its obsessive!!!!! What if he hurts you and goes Edward-ly and want to leave you, but actually he cant, so he stay BUT not being with you, that's worst!

That wouldnt happen because he is cosmically drawn to you, so he would NEVER want to hurt you like Edward did to Bella. That is why imprinting is so perfect.

i think that shows that edward cares more though, in a sick kind of way. he would rather hurt himself than hurt bella again. but the wolf would rather stay and risk hurting his imprintee again, than cause himself pain.

and what if you WANT the wolf to leave?

He will do whatever you want, but i dont think you would want him to leave, like Jake said, who can resist that kind of devotion?
