My poor puppy! Empty My poor puppy!

Post  TheRealBella Sun Aug 16, 2009 6:37 am

Well, technically, she's not a puppy anymore. But my three year old boxer, Blossom, has been beat up to no end basically. She has a scar from being bitten by a BUNNY once. She got hit by a car in November and she had her hip removed, so the only thing keeping her bones together is scar tissue. After that, the doctor said she would basically never be able to walk correctly. She's out jumping fences now, dumbass dog! She had a tumor on her belly a few months ago too.

NOW I'm sitting here writing, and I see she's not putting ANY weight on one of her legs when she walks. It's got a tiny little scratch, but it's a little swollen and the back of her leg is pretty swollen too. Sad She perked up after I gave her some turkey, but I don't know what happened or anything. She was fine earlier. So now I'm all worried and having anxiety issues over that. I'm probably gonna end up pulling an all-nighter and tell Ma in the morning. or later on in the morning. But Blossom can't sleep, so she's keeping me up... maybe I should try moving her to my bed and putting more ice on it...

Lol. My dogs are my best friends in my house. They keep me sane around here. They're my babies. I'm such a mother to them, worrying about everything. She probably hurt herself jumping the fence or got into a fight with my other dog or the cat bit her or something. She looks so sad and pathetic though, lol.

I know. And I don't know why I noticed it now. It looks new, but I've been around for quite a while now and I didn't notice it right when I got home... So weird.

Well, she didn't greet me when I came in. After that, I was watching tv and writing. I did notice she had some trouble getting on the couch, but that was her back legs, and she wasn't putting weight on her front left... I dunno. She probably got it this morning when the cat attacked her or when she jumped the fence at some point and it's just started hurting or something.

It's even worse for boxers too because they already have the really sad looking, droopy face. I gave her some cheese, which is her comfort food (lol), and she's sleeping next to me slobbering all over my jeans.

It's cute. She knows what cheese means too! She gets all happy if you say cheese to her. It's hilarious. I need comfort food right now. I'm on my period and I'm craving pomegranate, which is probably a bad thing because pomegranate is the "fruit of fertility". LMAO!

Hopefully Blossom'll be okay by tomorrow. She stinks though! She smells so bad. I need to get up and get air freshener and she's blocking me. Dumb dog! Lol.

I'm almost done with it, thank God! I hate it.

Yeah. I ate like a whole bag of chocolate covered pomegranate seeds the other day. My bestie's mom told me that it's the fruit of fertility then. It was really funny the way she said it too.

Boxers are really gasy dogs. It's disgusting. She's HORRIBLE. And we had chili for dinner, so the beans and... yeah. I would move her, but then she'd start whining again.

Yeah, they're really good! I love 'em. I eat chocolate covered everything though. Like I put chocolate in my popcorn. It's SO good.

Yeah. She needs a special diet. Badly. Especially because she has stomach issues already.

Chocolate in popcorn is just kind of mixing the tastes. It's like a sweet with a bland taste. So good! But my mom thinks it's gross, so it's a matter of opinion.
