Nikki Reed

Who do you think of Nikki Reed as Rosalie? I thought she looked great, and pulled it off amazingly. Even though she only had, like, one part in the whole movie, she still shined in the spotlight and stood out. I imagined Rosalie thinner...but maybe that's just me.

one of my favorite parts in the whole movie was the kitchen scene. i died laughing when she broke that bowl. i think she did fine, i think she could have been a little more bitchy though. throughout most of it she just seemed concerned, but in twilight she seemed like a flat out bitch.

Rosalie isn't a bitch. She just doesn't like Bella. Who would? She just seemed that way in Twilight because it was described from Bella' POV. The reason she was upset in Twilight was because she was concerned of suddenly having this human stranger be in thier family now. She's protective of her family, and she knows the danger that was bringing upon them.

EXACTLY. TWILIGHT is told from BELLAS PoV. meaning she should have been a bitch. and she WAS acting like a bitch. whether she meant to or not. but yeah, thats about all i want to hear from the inner workings of rosalie, expecially if it comes from midnight sun. thanks.

Yeah, um, how was she a bitch? I've read Midnight Sun, I have no idea wut ur talking about...

and i havent. im just telling you. dont tell me what happend in midnight sun anything at all.. she DID act like a bitch in twilight, whatever her motives may be.

no matter what her reasons were, scared for her family or not, she was NOT NICE to Bella. she was bitchy. she even admits it in eclipse... im gonna find this one cause i dont remember it exactly.

So she glared at Bella, so what. If she's scared for her family, then she doesn't have to be nice to Bella. It's not the law. I don't like Bella either, I'd probably glare at her too. Rosalie is one of those people that once they met someone new, it takes them a long time to start opening up to them. I'm the same way. She doesn't even know anything about Bella yet, all she knows is that she's a danger to the family.

lola are we SERIOUSLY arguing if whether rosalie was bitchy to bella at first!? omg because she WAS! I don't CARE if she had a reason behind it, no matter how valid of a reason it is. she WAS BEING BITCHY. she may have had the best reasons in the world, BUT SHE WAS STILL BEING BITCHY. i dont HATE rosalie AT ALL! i think nikki did a bad job as rosalie AT ALL. i have zero problems with rosalie, but she WAS BEING A BITCH TO BELLA.

Twilight is told from BELLAS point of view, so even Rosalie had the best reason in the WORLD for not liking bella she wouldnt have shared it with her. she would have just seemed like she hated her for no reason at all. so for all bella knows rosalie IS a bitch.

i dont know why im even arguing this with you. you are the ONLY person i have EVER met that would say rosalie wasnt being bitchy to bella in twilight.

I'm not going to be quoting Midnight Sun here. But yes. Rosalie was being bitchy to Bella. She may have had her reasons, but the fact still remains that she WAS being a little bitchy to Bella even after her mishap in NM. She just actually mellowed down when she aired her reasons for voting against Bella's becoming a vampire.

Remember how Edward tried to escape Bella's question about Rosalie & Emmett not being around when he brought Bella to meet them. If Rosalie wasn't being bitchy, she won't have disappeared with Emmett. Or @ least she would have been civil enough to stay a bit & say hello. It was already a given that Bella knew what they were, so she didn't have to pretend she was human.

Being civil was what would have made her likable in Twilight. I didn't like what she did to Bella, there and in NM. Inasmuch as I don't like Bella, Rosalie has her flaws, too.

Nikki Reed on the other hand, portrayed Rosalie well. She got the "bitchy" part well done.

haha i agree. i think she could have been bitchier in the kitchen but she was PERFECT in the garage. a bit of bitch but still rosalicious. idk where that just came from rofl.

That's just her character. She used to get all the attention... And she was somehow sulky because Edward didn't find her attractive enough to like her. As she explained, she didn't have any romantic feelings toward Edward, but still, she would've liked Edward to have seen her beauty & worshiped her, too. Weird. And that's just - uh- being a bit bitchy?

Oh yeah. The garage scene. Perfect. "What is she to me?" Very Rosalie...

Yup. Not the monster we know they are. Vampires, that is. But she knew she was wrong before & she admitted it.

We'd really have to get Stephenie to finish Midnight Sun. There would more "bitchy" Rosalie towards the end AND Edward would've heard it.

I still really like Rosalie. She is one of the only strong female characters in the series. I don't think she's bitchy, it just takes awhile for her to like someone.

i like rosalie too. and i didnt say that she was a bitch... okay maybe i did, but by that i didnt mean that she was like evil, i meant that she was bitchy a lot of the time lol.

I think she was only a little rude in Twilight. But she's awesome! Strong, Independent. Now that's a heroine!

i love rosalie too. she went through sooooo much. i feel sooooo bad for her. shes not my favorite cullen by a long shot, but i dont hate her at all.

I love Rosalie. And initially I thought Nikki didn't look right for the part, and she had a really bad wig, but she acted the role perfectly. She got the icyness and the anger issues and even pulled off this aura of expecting everyone's adoration.
