are they so bad? They are not very famous in here, maybe just Clarkson as I said. I haven't heard anything about them. So what is the attitude about them in your countries? Why you think they are bad enough to not into the soundtrack?

i think with the right songs they wouldnt be TERRIBLE, but i think there are other song that deserve to be in there WAYYY more. -coughNEEDcough-

ive been listening to the kelly clarkson song... i dont think it would be BAD, but NOT GOOD for when edward leaves. TOOOO emotional. bella felt nothing. she sounds PISSED in the song. i dont think Haunted would be bad at all for when shes running through the plaza in volterra to get to edward. i think it would be great actually.

Honestly, i dont like the fact that some poppy artist is trying to be on the soundtrack...i dont like her, and i think her music is bad...

like, if she does get on the soundtrack, next thing we know, freaking Miley Cyrus is gonna try to be on the soundtrack of Eclipse!

I just dont like the idea that a pop star is trying to be on the soundtrack...i mean, Paramore was and IS awesome, i love them and Paramore did a great job with Decode and they fit the part of Twilight, you know? but Kelly...i mean, she won American Idol!! and that Justin guy, OMG...he needs to just get it through his head that his 15 mins of fame are over...theyve been over for a few years now!! lol

I hope they will stick with the whole Non famous indie band idea like they did for Twilight, ive never heard of any of those songs, and they were ALL GREAT!! Esp. Iron and Wine...that was a wonderful song...

nooo no i feel the same way. but have you heard the song? it doesnt sound like her usual stuff. and i would still rather them NOT put it in the soundtrack, but if they DO the best place for it would be volterra. but i agree. they should keep to the lesser band thing... but you never know. if it HAS to be in there its not the end of the world is what im trying to say. it SUCKS but it could be wayyyy worse. lol i guess im just trying to look on the bright side.

yea its not gonna be the end of the world, and besides, it cant be THAT bad...i mean, if Paris Hilton tried getting one of her wacko songs on the soundtrack, THEN wed have a problem!! lol

I actually don't mind Kelly. I mean she came from bad roots, AI, but she has talent. She has a great voice, and when she's teamed with a songwriter and producer like Ben Moody, it sounds amazing. I haven't heard that song Laz posted though.

I liked Kelly Clarkson for her first two CDs, after that, she wasn't very good. I really would prefer her to the Jonas Brothers, but... Yuck!

From one side, I agree with marym don't judge before you hear AND see in the movie. Maybe it will go well in to it. After what I saw Chris is amazing director!

My only problem is that I don't know Jonas brothers but somebody told me they are like Hansons back in the days. I kind a can't see that kind of song to be good for New Moon unless it's a parody

They are a really bad plastic pop band with no talent, Lazzy! I have made myself listen to their stuff so I could judge it. And it hurt my ears!!
