soooo annoying!

okay. i'm just writing this for the sake of spamming to be honest, but it is related!

my real cousin, lol, texted me today about her english teacher who asked if anyone read the twilight saga. my cousin hasn't but she knew how obsessed i was so she decided to text me lol. but when no one raised their hands (i was kind of shocked by that. maybe they were embarrassed) she was like good, because they're so poorly written that they lower your intellegence and a few things.... oh that teacer is LUCKY i wasn't there. i would have either walked out or chewed her donkey-butt out. nothing good. seriously, to question someone's intellegence for a book that they choose to read for pleasure is so unprofessional! omg i was so mad! ahaha but yeah. the end. stupid story, i know!

Well it is what it is. I dont believe books are bad in any sense, they're DIFFERENT. If you dont like some writing style you can criticize it with others, but without being rude, it's not necessary because you can offend someone...OBVIOUSLY that teacher doesnt think the way I do even though she appears to be an english teacher grrr

I could imagine a couple of my teachers saying that too but just because it lowered their intelligence doesn't mean that it's going to have the same effect on everyone else that reads it lol....

At my niece's school, the Twilight saga is banned, they arent allowed to read it, because the principal thinks the same thing about the intelligence and stuff like that, and Shania goes to a school that is both primary and high school, she never has to change, so, the high school kids cant read it either!

But then again, i would expect it from that principal, he once said i needed an excorsism! LOL! I told him he might be right, and asked if he would do it for me, and then yeah, he totally wanted to....hahahaha....freak!

Is that a catholic school or something? I used to study in one and they banned Harry Potter, a professor even got fired because she liked Harry Potter and said it was a stupid thing to do.

And Amz - it is an Anglican school, and Harry Potter is banned as well, i dont get it, i wore my Team Jacob shirt when i went there for this boring thing tonight, and i got the most evil glare from both the principal and the church commisioner or whatever he was! ahahaha!

Oh well, they're just Vatican's slaves or something. It's STOOOOPID as hell to do that. Even more since, at least HP, drove SO many people to read again. I cant say that about the bible

But, they just wont listen to reason....i got a bible handed to me tonight when i was there, and i put it on the table right in front of them and said i didnt want it....i dont think that school likes me all to much....i dont be to mean though, i dont want to embaress or outcast my niece!

lol we have to read the bible for class. i go to a catholic college though. it's ridiculous. they try to talk you out of being religious by messing with your damn head and pointing out all the flaws in the bible. haha they say it's because they want to be SURE in your beliefs, but i think they just like us to be confused as hell!

That's kind of stupid. When I was in that school they made us read it as well, but I was LITTLE. I think its pretty stupid to make you read the bible in college just because if a catholic college... I think

lol well we're reading it more from a historical standpoint than a religious one, but you'd be surprised the number of people who haven't read it before. we had to read luke today... i've read luke before, so i just sparknoted it (hahaha will you go to hell for sparknoting the bible?!)

In ALL my old schools Harry Potter books were banned. You couldnt have any of the books on school property. WTF? LOL!

My entire world was Harry Potter when i was at school....my book covers, pencil case, folder, bag....everything....was Harry Potter related....so i would have been pretty effed if they banned it in the school i was in....but it wasnt....

And, yeah, i have kinda read the bible, but not all of it, i just needed to read it to have something to compare the Satanic bible too, and trust me, after reading the normal bible, i knew that Satanism was for me! LOL!

Luckily we never had anything banned when I was at school but if HP was banned them I would have died right there on the spot!!!! OMJ How could they do that???

It would be facsinating to read the bible from a historical perspective not from a religious perspective... The connotations and references to things would be so much different than to the standard reading of the text...

haha it would have been better if i would have had the time to actually re-read it!
